Do you like things that don't cost anything? I do. I had at least one (probably two) of these little cases become available yesterday so I'm giving one away on Monday. If you'd like to have it, leave a comment below.
This little series of cases are made wool from a pair of surplus military wool trousers. The interior is lined with a green print cotton and lightly padded for shape. The leather strap is made from recycled leather (formerly someone's car seats). Nickel Snap on one side, nickel rivet on the back. See the original listing and more photos here.
The case fits the ipod classic comfortably. It also fits the iphone and ipod touch but it is a bit more snug lengthwise... best to use your leather strap with care and give it some time to stretch before using it to hold your headphones as shown.
Now for all the wallflowers who are sitting on their hands thinking... "gosh, I really like these but could I possibly pipe up and say I want something for free? That doesn't seem right; getting something without paying for it. I mean, who am I to ask to be given something without....". You need to stop being so mid-western and leave a comment. Right now.
Come back next week and we'll give away the other one... or give away something else.
Hi, Just found you from your etsy posting. Love your sustainable designs! Can't wait to purchase for gifts

Hey!
I totally love the fact that you refashion materials with some history on them into something simple, functional and with contrast... that kind of ideas give me a warm feeling inside.
But what I love the most is thinking how cool my ipod would look in one of these!!!!!
Lots of love!
